SAFED Continuous Furnaces

SAFED, founded in Delémont Switzerland in 1936, specializes in the design and manufacture of industrial furnaces for precise heat treating of mass-produced components. Originally, the company built furnaces to harden and temper, and braze parts for the watch-making, micro-mechanical and precision engineering industries.

But SAFED really made its name by specialising in continuous treatment systems based on mesh-belt conveyor furnaces and shaker hearth furnaces. Furnaces are heated by electricity, and depending on the application, by gas.

Main products

  • Automatic conveyor-belt furnaces with integral quench (type T)
  • T-type with atmosphere circulating fans (type T-turbo)
  • Conveyor belt atmosphere furnaces with water jacket-cooling channel (type Bd)
  • Conveyor belt furnaces with forced air convection (type BdL)
  • Automatic shaker hearth furnaces with integral quench (type Vi)
  • Atmosphere gas generators
  • Washing machines
